Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems to ensure peak performance and safety.
- Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems to identify potential hazards and prevent them.
- Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems according to relevant codes and standards.
- Interact with customers professionally, providing exceptional service and support.
- Install or upgrade fire sprinklers in commercial and residential buildings to meet specific needs and requirements.
- Test and repair alarm systems to ensure seamless operation and effectiveness.
- Conduct inspections to verify alarms are installed correctly and functioning as intended.
- Document findings and report results of work completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Protect and maintain company equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operation.
Education/Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler systems.
- Clean driving record and ability to use small equipment safely.
- Experience with commercial and residential systems, including knowledge of codes and regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and out-of-town assignments.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting heavy objects, balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
