We are a leading company in the fire, life safety and security industry. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
The successful candidate will inspect, test and perform system checks. They will assist in identifying system deficiencies and preparing accurate inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems.
- Service and inspect wet, dry and pre-action systems.
- Repair or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems according to applicable codes and standards.
- Interact with customers professionally.
- Provide technical assistance to team members and customers as needed.
- Train trade skills to apprentices/helpers.
- Complete detailed inspection reports documenting issues and results.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles safely.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
- Experience with commercial and residential systems.
- Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently/team environment.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stands, walks, uses hands to handle objects, reaches, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls.
- Occasionally lifts and moves heavy objects.
