Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman

This position is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, and performing system checks.

The foreman assumes the lead role in 2-3 person crews to oversee work on customer sites at times.

Salary Range: $30-$38/Hour

This role plays a critical part in ensuring fire sprinkler systems are functioning correctly, which is crucial for preventing damage and loss of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems.
• Service and inspections of wet, dry, and pre-action systems.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems according to applicable codes and standards.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide advanced technical assistance as needed.
• Teach trade skills to apprentices/helpers and ensure accurate, timely completion of inspection reports.
• Protect and maintain company equipment, including vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Work safely, adhering to company procedures and manufacturer's instructions.
• Respond to emergency service calls and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25.
• Experience with commercial and residential systems.
• Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment.
• Troubleshooting skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
