The Outside Sales Representative role involves selling products and services to current and new clientele. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, identifying prospective customers, and recommending marketing strategies for target markets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains a network of sources for new sales leads.
- Communicates with customers to understand their needs and identifies suitable products or services.
- Demonstrates product functionality to customers based on their requirements.
- Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and resolves any post-sale issues.
- Notifies existing and previous customers about new products, services, and enhancements.
- Records detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, and customer relationship problems.
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Performs other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of related experience required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
