Portables Service Tech Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of portable devices
- Inspect, test, and perform fire extinguisher checks in accordance with fire codes
- Identify system deficiencies and prepare accurate inspection reports
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install or service fire extinguishers in commercial and residential buildings
- Test and repair fire extinguishers already in place
- Perform inspections to ensure fire extinguishers are installed according to code
- Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues
- Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner
Other Key Tasks:
- Protect and maintain company equipment
- Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment
Requirements:
- A high school education or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA standards is preferred
- Experience with fire extinguishers is preferred
