Pye-Barker Fire & Safety's Expectations
We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler System Installer & Certifier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and certifying life safety systems and associated devices according to local and national codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all installed equipment meets national life safety codes and installation standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of blueprints/drawings to verify device locations and placement.
- Communicate effectively with building engineers, property management, and site contacts throughout each assignment.
- Deliver high-quality documentation according to NFPA standards upon project completion, including sign-off after successful testing and certification.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of industry experience is required.
- NICET certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrate expertise in the use of test equipment.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Be flexible with scheduling requirements, as occasional evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments may arise.
