Our client, a purpose-driven energy infrastructure company, is growing its small legal team with a newly-created attorney position in their corporate headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. This role provides legal support for the company’s corporate and commercial activities, including corporate development/finance efforts, including M&A transactions, credit facility and other finance matters, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
This is an ideal opportunity for a law firm associate or in-house attorney who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on a variety of commercial, corporate, and transactional projects.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- 3 years of legal experience, with experience in midstream oil and gas transactions, M&A, or corporate finance.
- Strong skills in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and finance-related documents.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar membership in good standing.
