Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Specialist to support our global ethics and compliance program. This role will focus on third-party due diligence, policy development, training, and compliance monitoring to help ensure regulatory adherence across our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Conduct and interpret third-party due diligence for vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate / Update ethics and compliance policies and procedures: Adherence to global data protection regulations (GDPR), anti-corruption and anti-bribery (FCPA), anti money laundering (AML), and fraud prevention.
- Training & Resources: Develop and deliver ethics and compliance training materials, online resources, and compliance communications.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the ethics hotline, track key metrics, research and investigate incidences, and drive program improvements.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Engage with internal legal and business leaders to foster a strong global ethics and compliance culture.
- Data & Systems Management: Maintain the internal compliance SharePoint site and support export controls compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Paralegal certificate a plus.
- 5 years of ethics & compliance experience in a global company.
- Experience with third-party due diligence, export controls, GDPR, FCPA, and other regulations.
- Proficiency in SharePoint or other software tracking systems.
Hybrid office schedule in Kansas City office location.
