Birthday Supervisor

Department Description:

A summer at Typhoon Texas in the Birthdays Department is the Best. Party. Ever. You will gain valuable work experience that will last you a lifetime while providing the ultimate summer bash for our Guests. The Birthdays Department oversees birthday activities daily. The birthday supervisor is a greeter, birthday party host, children’s activity director, and more. The supervisor will ensure the quality of our Guest’s experience by providing the best possible experience through unparalleled customer service, and attentive listening. Birthday supervisor will be responsible for answering birthday calls, checking in birthday Guests, preparing and/or setting up birthday area, providing food and beverage service, and dealing with Guest concerns as they arise in a professional and friendly manner. The supervisor will work closely with the Birthday coordinator in supervising the birthday hostess and ensures that our Guests have a memorable experience all while keeping a smile and Texas-Friendly attitude. The Birthday supervisor will play a key role in support the birthday department.

Department Qualifications:

• Experience working with children
• Greets guests, gathers necessary tickets/supplies, provides seamless entry for entire party, and assists throughout the duration of the party
• Uses excellent judgment
• Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
• Supervise birthday team and assist where needed to execute events
• Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
• Has excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of interaction with Guests, Team Members, and Directors
• This position may require standing for long periods of time outdoors, exposed to the elements of nature, including but not limited to hot temperatures, direct sunlight, and rain
• Interacts appropriately with children and Guests of all age groups
• Required to answer multiple phone lines and assist the guests.
• This position may require you to work in other positions, locations, and/or departments on an ad hoc basis
• Complete any and all tasks given by Typhoon Texas management
