Work closely with business analysts, business sponsors, project managers, UX and IT teams to obtain and understand business requirements Pyramid Consulting Group Inc has a Pittsburgh banking client with an immediate need for an experienced DIGITAL UI/UX DESIGNER with the following background and skills:
Must Have Technical Skills:
Figma
Skilled at Low, Mid, and High-Fidelity Design
Demonstrated ability in gathering and translating requirements from business sponsors, SMEs, users, and business analysts etc.
Please provide a digital portfolio
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
Experience with Design Systems and Components
Knowledge of web accessibility standards
Proven understanding of user-centered design techniques & demonstrated ability to incorporate UCD principles into the architecture and design of user interfaces.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree required - graphic design and user interface design certs nice to have.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, industry best practices, taking into account strategic business objectives, user needs, systems constraints.
Participate in design review sessions with project teams, acquiring consensus and getting approvals on designs and documentation.
Execute business acceptance test cases and testing.
Work with the project managers to ensure that usability deliverables accommodate project timelines, budgets, technical and scope constraints.
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of efficient and effective usability methodology/process, documentation, workflow, ROI, metrics, and design standards.
Act as user experience advocate regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.
