What are the responsibilities and job description for the Demand Planning Manager position at Pyramid Consulting Group, LLC?
Our client, a mass market beauty brand, is looking to hire a Demand Planning Manager to join the team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (2 days in office).
Job Duties Include:
- Develop demand plan with input from customer, history, external factors and trends
- Review sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast variances versus actual demand
- Manage end to end product lifecycle from product launch to discontinuation
- Plan KPI reporting both for internal and corporate purposes
- Monitor key forecast metrics with the objective to continuously reduce forecast error
- Follow key trends to ensure demand plan is incorporating trends as necessary
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5 years of business experience (preferably in CPG industry) with at least 3 years of demand planning experience
- Bachelors Degree – Preferably Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar field (MBA a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills working with large volumes of data, data management and reporting
- Experience with a Demand Planning System (preferably Smoothie/Netstock)
- Experience with SAP
Salary: $100k - $125k annually
