What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Design position at Pyramid Consulting Group, LLC?
Our client, a luxury perfume house, is hiring a Head of Design to join their corporate team onsite in NYC. The brand is expanding into other categories, aside from perfumes, so this person will ideally have experience in perfumes and packaging cosmetics, but also has an interest in other product categories like leather goods (SLGs, bags, belts, etc.), and accessories (footwear, sunglasses, swimwear) categories.
Job Duties Include:
- Lead creative vision for fragrance, beauty, footwear, leather goods, and accessories, overseeing concept to production while ensuring luxury standards
- Recruit and manage a design team, set creative direction, and maintain consistent design documentation reflecting brand values
- Align with leadership on creative goals, present concepts, and incorporate feedback to refine designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and meet design standards
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5 years of luxury design experience in beauty, fragrance, leather goods, and footwear
- Strong expertise in materials and production
- Proven ability to lead and manage creative teams, overseeing projects from concept to production
- Skilled in sketching, rendering, CAD, and crafting timeless luxury products, with established supplier and vendor relationships
- Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills, working effectively with senior executives across departments
Salary: $170k - $180k annually
