Key Responsibilities:
- Building authorizations from provider requests (2-3 Auths per hours ~ 30 per day).
- Supporting Medicaid line of service (FL Medicaid).
- Email communication and through Client’s Programs are how these are built out and communicated through (no phones).
- Most communication is completed through FaxBack.
- Weekly meetings – for updates and check ins.
- 1:1 discussions that are completed monthly with supervisor.
- Will be responsible for completing a MINIMUM of 30 Authorizations per day.
- Ensure all programs and apps are available, meet and greet, training.
- Key skills; Authorizations / Medical Terminology / Medicaid / Medical facility (doctor’s office, insurance, billing, etc.)
- 1-2 years of related experience within a medical facility (doctor’s office, insurance, billing, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Experience.
- Data Entry.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Authorization Experience.
- Insurance knowledge.
- Remote Work Experience.
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
