HIM Analyst

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Cerner HIM modules, including Chart Correction, Deficiency Management, and Document Quality Review.
• Collaborate with medical records, clinical, and IT teams to understand workflow needs and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot HIM-related issues and provide timely resolution.
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and optimization projects.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and provide support to HIM staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, JCI, etc.) and organizational policies.
• Participate in go-lives, testing, and change control processes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:HIM, Cerner .
• Strong hands-on experience with Cerner HIM solutions (Chart Correction, Deficiency Management, Release of Information).
• Familiarity with Cerner tools like PowerChart, Discern Rules, and CCL.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation workflows and regulatory compliance for health information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
