Pay Range: $32.62 - $48.93/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Uses knowledge of laboratory science to perform the most complex clinical testing as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIAA '88) providing safe and effective patient care.
• Maintains strict safety and infection control techniques at all times.
• Practices, develops and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.
• Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care or the services delivered.
• Follows established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient's care which result in patient harm.
• Uses occurrence reporting system to report potential patient safety issues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Laboratory Information System.
• Completes all mandatory education requirements.
• Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
• Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
• "Call" responsibilities.
• Ensures orientation of new staff.
• Assumes authority, accountability, and responsibility.
• Participates in cross-organizational activities.
• Formulates reviews and/or revises departmental policies.
• Demonstrates the ability to anticipate departmental needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:Laboratory results aid clinical practitioners in confirming or ruling out diagnoses, monitoring chronic disease states, and analyzing the effects of medical therapies.

• 3 years’ experience Required Years of Experience
• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Florida Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
• Note-Pay Rate : $32.62-$40.77 (3 years of experience) - $48.93 (10 years of Experience).
• Shift Time: Available Shifts: Mixed (Rotating Weekends).
