Pay Range : $27.09 - $34.97 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities :
- Assembles supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
- Prepares sterile instrument table.
- Maintains aseptic techniques and actively monitors situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
- Positions patient according to type of surgery.
- Assists the surgical team in surgical procedures which may include passing instruments, sponges, and sutures. Maintains work area.
- Gathers equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
