Key Responsibilities:
- The Pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use of medications through order verification;
- Assessment of medication selection, dosing regimen, and administration;
- Provide drug information and education; drug therapy monitoring services; and drug procurement at Client.
- Works closely with providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal care is provided.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department operations or service outcomes.
- Evaluates medication drug therapies.
- Answers questions about drug information.
- Supervises technician activities and medication management processes.
- Precepts pharmacy students and help precept and oversee pharmacy residents.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Pharmacist, drug procurement, hospital.
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
- Pharmacist Licensure in Arizona.
- 5 years of experience as a pharmacist.
- Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred.
