Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to help create high-level business requirements, translate them into functional and non-functional technical requirements, and complete the solution design to be used by the engineering teams to implement.
- Review submitted solution designs against security policies and standards, refactor if needed, or advise on risk of non-compliance.
- Research and present on trending topics within the industry (AI, App Sec, etc.) to senior technical leadership.
- Create reference/conceptual/logical/low-level technical architecture documents and diagrams.
- Develop, maintain, and advise on multi-year roadmaps across any security domain.
- Create repeatable patterns and collaborate with peer architects to create designs/patterns that are secure by default.
- Evaluate technologies across any security domain (IAM, Networking, Cloud, Defense, etc)
- Self-assigns Service Designs and reviews the designs within expected SLAs.
- Assigned (or self-requests) solutioning efforts and drives requirements and design phase with minimal oversight to project timelines.
