• Position Title:** AM Line Cook
• Department:** Food & Beverage
• Reports To:** Executive Chef / Sous Chef

We are seeking a motivated and reliable AM Line Cook to join our culinary team. The AM Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast menu items in accordance with restaurant standards, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position is crucial to maintaining a smooth and timely kitchen operation during the morning and lunch shifts.

• Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets presentation requirements.
• Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of daily specials and menu items as directed by the chef.
• Keep workstations and kitchen clean and organized at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in a breakfast or lunch setting.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
• Must be able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical Requirements:**
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a hot and humid kitchen environment.
  
  

**Flexibility is required for a combination of morning and weekend shifts.**

Morning shifts begin at 5:00 AM.

Qualifications

**Requirements:**

• Food Safety/Handler’s Certification required.
• Availability for AM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player with flexibility to work both as a line cook and/or banquet cook.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately execute recipes with speed and precision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; capable of handling stressful situations professionally.
• Must have excellent vision (both close and distant) and the ability to speak and hear clearly.
• Ability to stand for long periods, up to the entire shift, with frequent bending, squatting, and lateral movement.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of 35-50 lbs.
