We are seeking an energetic and service-focused Seasonal Pool Server to join our team for the summer season. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The Pool Server will provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests at the pool area, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally in the pool area
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the bar/kitchen
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside area, including cabanas and tables
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and follow responsible service of alcohol policies
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and support other areas as needed
- Uphold brand standards and create a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift trays and carry items up to 25 lbs
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the season
- Minimum age of 21 depending on local alcohol service laws
- Current food handler’s permit and alcohol server certification (if required by state/county)
