Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and securing profitable management relationships/contracts. The position will support and coordinate efforts around direct sales, marketing, e-commerce, and assist in promoting the PyramidWORKS brand identity together with the PyramidWORKS team.

  • Research, analyze the full scope of the potential market opportunities and define a structured and comprehensive sales and marketing action plan to expand our marketshare and the achievement of targeted profit.
  • Provide updated market insights into services/product development and competitive positioning within our brand targets.
  • Fully understand and effectively communicate the scope of the brand’s curated scope of products and services delivered to clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify, prioritize, and secure targeted opportunities.
  • Analyze the market, competitors’ projects, and client feedback to continuously update and effective strategies to target and secure profitable business opportunities.

Essential Functions

  • Development and orchestration of strategies to support direct sales, marketing, and e-commerce to maximize brand exposure and recognition.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all contracted owners, asset managers and leaders within the targeted markets for prospective management contracts.
  • Provide appropriate support to the Team leaders and business development efforts.
  • Follow direction set by Executive Vice President Operations.
  • Serve as a driving force in establishing the Center of Excellence, taking a proactive and hands-on approach to build processes, strategies, and frameworks from the ground up.
  • Act as a "boots on the ground" leader, actively engaging in business development efforts and executing strategies to drive growth and establish a strong foundation for the Center Of Excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years in business development and hospitality services leadership delivering consistent strong results; multiple diverse experiences serve to strengthen a candidate’s profile.
  • Four-year college degree required.
  • Proven success in brand marketing, contracts/deal identification and execution, leading change, and achieving breakthrough performance across the brand.
  • Must possess a strong capability to analyze information, understand and identify opportunities and successfully act on identified opportunities.
  • Strong selling skills with an ability to prioritize work to achieve maximum performance.
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in brand operations and capability to deliver differing services to maximize results in line with owner’s goals in disparate properties.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to marshal resources to achieve company goals and objectives.

Work Requirements

Job involves working under variable temperature conditions, extreme heat, or cold and noise levels. Work environment includes administrative offices, indoors, outdoors and around fumes and/or odor hazards, dust and/or mite hazards. Will endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for prolonged periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to ten pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to one hundred pounds. This position also requires frequent use of fine and gross motor skills, eye, and hand coordination as well as constant use of vision and hearing. Reasonable accommodations may be offered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $165,000.00/Yr. - $200,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
