ACTT Team Leader

Our Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT) provide a "hospital without walls" program that brings high intensity behavioral health services into the community to serve people who may not have access to the care they need. ACTT is a comprehensive team of professionals from many disciplines that provide tailored services to meet the client's mental health, substance use, vocational and housing needs. ACTT improves outcomes for people with severe mental illness who are most at risk of psychiatric crisis and/or affected by other social determinants of health. October Road operates 6 Assertive Community Treatment Teams across the state of North Carolina covering several counties. We are currently seeking an experienced clinician or ACT Team Leader to support our ACT team that Jacksonville NC and surrounding areas.

Pay Ranges are from $60,000-$70,000 per year based on experience and licensing

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Licensure Requirements/ experience:

• LCSW(A), LCMHC(A)
• Three years of clinical experience with severe and persistent mental illness, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate school. Five years' clinical experience with severe and persistent mental illness preferred

Scope of position:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight, in collaboration with the psychiatric care provider(s), to the ACT program, and supervise and manage the team operations and staffing.
• Ensures the systematic provision of treatment and social services such as case management, individual, group and family therapy.
• Team Leader is responsible for communication among staff, consumers, families, and external resources for collaboration and continuity of treatment; actively participates as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Responsible for assessment, treatment and discharge planning.
• Team Leader must present self and service line in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Team Lead maintains positive relationship with referral sources, stakeholders, payors and TMACT.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate Degree in Human Service or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
• The team leader shall be a licensed mental health professional holding any of the following licenses: licensed psychologist, licensed psychological associate, licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist certified as an advanced practice psychiatric clinical nurse specialist.
• The team leader shall have three years of clinical experience with severe and persistent mental illness, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate school. Five years' clinical experience with severe and persistent mental illness preferred.
• Experience also to include: family, group, and individual therapy/counseling; must be experienced with the supervision and management of SA/MH services within a variety of modalities and populations.
