What are the responsibilities and job description for the Addiction Counselor - Per Diem (Weekends) position at Pyramid Healthcare?
Come join our Clinical Team providing individual and group therapy to our clients in a team-oriented setting! Located in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, our Walden Anchor Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.
At Pyramid Healthcare in Charlotte Hall, our Counselors:
- provide elite-level care to adults seeking treatment by evaluating behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs
- provide personalized treatment plans specific to individual needs
- Facilitate all clinical services for clients including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact.
- provide detailed and personalized aftercare planning and community outreach resources/referrals
- Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience:
- Maryland ADT Status (Link: ADT Status Resource Page )
- Clinical Licensure (one of the following) : LCADC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LGPC, LGADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD
