What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (Per Diem/PRN) position at Pyramid Healthcare?
Summary:
An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour before differentials!
Schedule: First Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm / Second Shift: 4:00pm - 12:00am / Third Shift: 12:00am - 8:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete the intake process with new clients into program
- Maintains client documentation
- Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
- Coordination of client activities
- Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
- Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
- Assists with the dietary needs of clients
- Completes all required trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid, preferred
