This is an unpaid internship.

Seeking experience within healthcare operations? Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in healthcare administration, psychology, social work, leadership or business? Currently enrolled in an internship or field practicum course?

Intern Will Work Closely With Assigned PA Facility Program Director And/or VP Of Operations To Learn And Support Following Organizational Operations

• Build new programs in collaboration with stakeholders from the medical community to achieve an integrated health model
• Oversee facility licensing and accreditation reviews.
• Assist in the hiring/development of staff as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with Inpatient and Outpatient organizational leads to provide cross region/facility collaboration to share resources and provided a network of peer support.
• Direct and provide facility oversight to recovery -oriented systems of care initiatives.
• Work closely with central admissions team, Regional Quality Managers, Human Resources, Director of Nursing and other support teams to ensure best practices.
• Interact with program directors and referral sources to facilitate prompt, effective services for the client.
• Assist Program Managers with program modifications needed for changing needs of clients.
• Strong focus on customer service and instilling this philosophy throughout the region.
• Support the organization’s mission, goals and objectives.
• Manage all business aspects of the facilities that fall under this position, including marketing and other support services.
• Monitor, track and evaluate budget factors that could impact achievement of fiscal and performance goals
