LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse (Full Time)

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use disorder and/or mental health treatment.

Pay

The LPN rate is $30/hr plus shift differential

Shift

7:00pm 7:00am Flexible on days - work every other weekend and every other holiday

• Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.

LPN Responsibilities

• Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions, as applicable Medication administration
• Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
• Provide medication education to clients
• Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Education And Experience

• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
• Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, RTFA)
