At Pyramid Healthcare in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. - Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.
- No catheters
- No I/Vs/Ports/Midlines
- Our Nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab who does them)
- There are minimal physical requirements for our Nursing positions: No heavy lifting, No long periods of standing/walking, etc.
- No paper MAR's - - we have active eMAR
- Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
- Medication administration and education to clients
- Ability to learn delivery of detox protocols (COWS and CIWA scales)
- Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
- Maintain medical equipment in proper working order
- Other duties as assigned
