Account Executive within our growing sales team to drive solution sales in new target accounts. We sell exciting technology that transforms claims, underwriting and policy administration. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of business process automation, content management, intelligent document processing, and case management technologies, and understand the insurance industry with a strong sales history. You must be a self-starter with a high level of self-sufficiency and possess a passion for identifying, qualifying and closing large complex deals. You must demonstrate the unique ability to listen, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, continuously provide exceptional customer service, and be a high energy, self-motivated individual who thrives on exceeding expectations.
Sales Type: Outside Sales – Exceptional hunter and closer
Travel: 25% - 50% travel is expected
Responsibilities
- Develop new business at new accounts
- Expand business at a portfolio of strategic existing accounts
- Strategize, develop and execute a territory plan to meet or exceed your software and services sales objectives
- Prospect, target, qualify, position and successfully close direct software and services sales opportunities
- Capitalize on leads generated through prospecting and industry networking
- Maintain Sales Administration tasks to track, manage and monitor the progress of your targeted opportunities via Salesforce
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance or financial services, selling advanced technology & services
- You must understand the insurance business and possess an active Rolodex of industry contacts
- Ability to identify customer needs and effectively translate into innovative solutions
- Ability to build relationships with key business and IT executives
- Excellent listening, multi-tasking, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic, take charge attitude, experience managing long sales cycles, and driven to succeed
- A proven track record of consistent quota attainment in software solution sales
- Possess characteristic traits consistent with Pyramid’s core values of high integrity, professionalism, and team player orientation
