Overview

Pyramid Systems is seeking an Azure Developer who is responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the cloud environment. They will work closely with engineers to identify and resolve issues that may impact service availability.

Responsibilities

Assist with reporting on current infrastructure status.

• Utilizing hands on coding / development to the current mainframe enterprise system (Azure).
• Collaborate with architects to coordinate alignment of mainframe stored procedures with newer technologies.
• Apply subject matter expertise to the design and development of modernized software systems (Azure).
• Research, design, and develops software systems.
• Designs application objects that work together to produce desired product.
• Ensures that completed objects provide all functionality described by application experts to ensure that performance guidelines are met.
• Develops level-of-effort estimates for enhancements and new features.
• Works with other team members to develop a complete and integrated solution; and to deliver quality software and required documentation on time.
• Utilize expertise to design, code, test, and debug software, focusing on areas like equipment or software design, engineering evaluation, and statistical analysis.
• Collaborates with users to define system scope and objectives, offering analytical support and technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Works with agile teams to refine requirements and to identify areas for enhancement.

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
