Job Title: Oracle EBS Developer (Utilities Industry Experience Required)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite for the first 90 days, Hybrid)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer with a strong background in the utilities industry. This role will focus on the development, enhancement, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, ensuring seamless integration with business processes. The
ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle EBS modules relevant to utilities, strong PL/SQL skills, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within Oracle EBS, aligning
Support Oracle EBS R12 modules, specifically those relevant to the utilities sector (e.g. Projects, Financials, Supply Chain).
Develop and optimize PL/SQL code, interfaces, and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS applications and integrations.
Work on API and integration development between Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications.
Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Provide post-implementation support and training as needed.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Oracle EBS development experience.
Utilities industry experience is a must-have.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Workflow Builder.
Experience with Oracle EBS R12 modules related to Financials, Projects, or Supply Chain.
Hands-on experience with interface development, API integrations, and data conversions.
Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle BI tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
