Key Responsibilities:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the practice, assisting with a wide variety of tasks, including:

• Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
• Handling patient intake and preparing animals for treatment
• Taking patient histories and assisting with patient assessments
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team
• Providing post-operative care and educating pet owners on care instructions
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and the treatment area
• Providing support and comfort to anxious animals using fear-free techniques
• Helping with client communication, scheduling, and follow-ups as needed

• Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary practice or with animals is preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate with a strong passion for animal care.
