Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low voltage systems, telecommunications, and various tools related to cable installation.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems
- Test circuits and equipment using a voltmeter and ohmmeter
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers
- Perform fiber splicing and Ethernet connections
- Provide field service support for cable installations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to mount equipment securely
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cable installer or service technician is preferred
- Proficiency in working with low voltage systems
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and tools
- Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and configure Cisco routers
- Strong understanding of Ethernet connections
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
