Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of data and telecommunication cables.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair data and telecommunication cables
- Perform network installations and ensure proper connections
- Use tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other equipment to test connections
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabling and network connectivity
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to complete installations effectively
- Work with low voltage systems including Ethernet and telephone cabling
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or Cable Technician is preferred
- Proficiency in working with various types of cables and connectors
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Strong understanding of network installation processes
- Ability to use diagnostic tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
