Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations and field service, with knowledge of low voltage systems, schematics, VoIP, LAN technologies, and NEC standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data center equipment and systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Handle cabling and wiring installations
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless operations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience
- Proven experience in data center operations and field service
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and schematics
- Knowledge of VoIP, LAN technologies, and NEC standards is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills in telephone and IT systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
