Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Set up user accounts and profiles and manage access control
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and software
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner
- Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Ensure security and privacy of systems data
- Document processes, procedures, and system configurations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, switches
- Experience with help desk support and ticketing systems
- Familiarity with SCCM for computer management
- Ability to analyze technical issues and provide solutions
- Strong communication skills to interact with users at all levels
- Experience supporting mobile devices in an office environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
