About the Company
Pyro-Comm Systems was founded in Huntington Beach, CA in 1980 by Michael Donahue and quickly became one
of the premier fire alarm companies in Southern California. The company’s focus was providing quality installations
and service to contractors, end-users, and property managers. Many of the employees have more than 20 years of
service with Pyro-Comm Systems. In 1996, Pyro-Comm Systems opened their second office in Carlsbad, CA to
support clients throughout the greater San Diego area. In 2010, Pyro-Comm Systems opened a third office in the
San Francisco Bay area in order to support clients throughout Northern California.

projects with Owners, Engineers, Developers and General Contractors. From design, engineering and code
consulting, Pyro-Comm Systems provides “value added” services to Professional Engineers & Architects,
Developers, Contractors, and End Users.
About the Job
The Customer Service Coordinator will coordinate service appointments with the Customer, the Service Technician, and Service Manager directly. Coordination with the department resources will be necessary to meet the customer needs.
Responsibilities for the Customer Service Coordinator
- This position reports to the Service Manager
- Customer and Service Technician point of contact
- Creation and Closing of Work Orders in Service Department System
- Schedule manpower (# of people for each labor type, time, & day)
- Requesting material for service work orders
- Attend Open Work Order Meetings to assist in scheduling return visits to sites
- Ensure efficient workflow by layout out service tech day in a logical flow
- Assist in UL audits
- Good attendance and punctuality, with ability to work overtime if needed.
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years related experience
- Professional demeanor, able to interact with others with tact and respect
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills, in addition to use of Outlook and Google calendars
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different computer / software systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with good driving history
