Pyro-Comm Systems was founded in Huntington Beach, CA in 1980 by Michael Donahue and quickly became one
of the premier fire alarm companies in Southern California. The company’s focus was providing quality installations
and service to contractors, end-users, and property managers. Many of the employees have more than 20 years of
service with Pyro-Comm Systems. In 1996, Pyro-Comm Systems opened their second office in Carlsbad, CA to
support clients throughout the greater San Diego area. In 2010, Pyro-Comm Systems opened a third office in the

projects with Owners, Engineers, Developers and General Contractors. From design, engineering and code
consulting, Pyro-Comm Systems provides “value added” services to Professional Engineers & Architects,
Developers, Contractors, and End Users.
About the Job
The Deficiencies Representative will coordinate with the Customer, Inspection Team, and Service Manager directly. Coordination with the department resources necessary to verify that a customer site is in compliance and all repairs that are noted are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities for the Deficiencies Representative
- Review Inspections Report for accuracy and completeness.
- Create quotation to repair any deficiencies found by the Inspections Department
- Explain in detail the deficiencies which have been noted to the customer
- Larger and more complex issues may require site surveys
- Internal parts sales to customers
- Providing updated inspection report once repairs have been completed
- Creation and updating of UL Certs for our customers.
- Uploading reports into the compliance engine
- Updating and organizing Pyro-Comm inspection reports on Pyro-Comms Servers
- Assist in UL Audits
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years related experience
- Professional demeanor, able to interact with others with tact and respect
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills, in addition to use of Outlook and Google calendars
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different computer / software systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with good driving history and proof of auto insurance
