- Must possess associate’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent three years’ experience in warehouse management or logistics management.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have experience working with inventory and asset management software (MRP/ERP), data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Must have the ability to implement new systems to maintain warehouse operations.
- Must have the ability to implement and maintain the asset management system through all FbG locations for warehouse operations.
- Must have experience working in an ISO Compliant
- Must be able to learn federal regulatory requirements including, but not limited to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), Department of Transportation (DoT).
- Responsible for overall safety of the warehouse, working with Pyrotechnique by Grucci (PbG) Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security Compliance.
- Possess strong understanding of and the ability to work in Microsoft Office software programs with proficiency in the use of Excel and Word.
- Must be able to receive clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
- Possess initiative and the ability to perform in an environment driven by deadlines, in a quality manner while handling several other key responsibilities.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Must possess strong leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to perform as a hands-on Manager for all warehouse processes, operations, including loading and unloading shipments with the warehouse team.
- Must have strong decision making and problem-solving skills, including math related functions.
- Must be able to work independently and in cross functional team environments.
- Must be comfortable identifying obstacles and addressing issues to direct management to implement solutions.
- Must be able to adapt to high peak season needs and add efficiency to the processes,
- Be able to assign and oversee staff for high demand workloads for peak season blackout periods from May 01 through July 15 (4th of July peak) and November 01 to December 31 (New year's peak)
- Be able to work all overtime as required.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the operational efficiencies of the warehouse.
- Responsible that all personnel within warehouse comply with safety and health regulations.
- Manage facility warehouse staff including Electronic Manager, Warehouse Assistants, and seasonal warehouse personnel.
- Responsible all training and certifications are kept up to date for warehouse personnel for Forklift equipment and all other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure OSHA records are maintained for all trained staffed and distributed to HR and Safety for personnel records.
- Oversee operational activities of all levels of the warehouse and develop procedures needed for processes.
- Improve and implement new operational management systems, processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Implement, maintain, and have ownership to the usage and accuracy of the Asset Management tracking for all FbG equipment at all warehouse locations.
- Implement Continuous Improvement Strategies throughout the warehouse and add efficiencies to fulfilling Truck Packing List orders (TPL) for FbG displays to ensure accuracy on all shipments processed.
- Develop methods to prepare for outgoing equipment shipments for palletizing plans, utilizing available space based on the truck size.
- Coordinate with all departments and facilities (Radford VA and New York) for combined shipment packing, calculate space available, and ensure stacking and combined pallets are considered to evaluate space used and available for the shipment load.
- Lead warehouse staff for all inbound and outbound FbG equipment shipments.
- Lead projects to repair, build, and modify equipment as needed for displays.
- Ensuring a well-coordinated reception of all FbG equipment and ensure storage is organized for easy asset tracking and order fulfillment for shipments.
- Coordinate with FbG Logistics/Fireworks Operations Senior Manager for incoming and outgoing FbG equipment shipments and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manages the receipt of FbG outbound equipment packing list and assists warehouse personnel in preparing shipments and ensures allocation to the appropriate job for each packing list.
- Works hand in hand with Electronic Manager to ensure all electronic needs are met for equipment shipments and provide staffing to assist as necessary.
- Ensure the staffing needs are met per workload and requests assistance for extra coverage as needed or altering schedules when required. Communicate directly to FbG Logistics/Fireworks Operations Senior Manager when assigned staff cannot meet deadline to request extra assistance.
- Ensures that all equipment shipments inbound from recent displays or other location warehouse locations are inspected, cleaned, and entered back into the asset tracking system.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in good quality conditions and inspection processes are procedure documented for employees to follow.
- Adds support to the Electronic Manager to ensure all return electronics are cleaned, tested, and entered back into the asset tracking system.
- Ensure the Electronic Manager has detailed procedures for all processes and can be followed by employees.
- Communicates with PbG Shipping/Receiving Team Leader for all receiving inbound shipments and FbG equipment shipments to coordinate shared use of warehouse dock.
- Ensure the Quality Policy and quality objectives are communicated and upheld by all employees.
- Complete and administer scheduled Performance Reviews for assigned staff.
- Establish and maintain a positive human relations climate in the department utilizing good communication practices and expeditious handling of complaints and problems.

- Approve department’s Weekly Time Sheets. Review and approve all requests for Vacation / Personal days for assigned staff. Review attendance and accrual information with assigned staff as needed.
- Ensure all necessary information is conveyed to Human Resource Department in a timely manner as it relates to the department.
- Participate in on-going training and education as required for the position.
- Abide by all company policies, procedures and comply with all governmental laws and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as required by management.
