Facilities Supervisor
Location: Clarksville, TN
Position Summary:
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring the upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and managing the facilities team. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and efficiency to extend equipment life, reduce breakdowns, and optimize labor and cost management.
Essential Duties:
- Supervise and mentor the facilities team, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for plant machinery and infrastructure.
- Schedule and coordinate projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and updates to machinery software.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards, safety policies, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings and report to the Plant Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in food manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (120V–480V).
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Leadership skills to create a collaborative and empowered work environment.
