POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Collections and Recoveries Manager will support the Vendor Management team by working directly with vendors and internal partners on management and oversight of collections and recoveries strategies, activities and performance. The Collections and Recoveries Manager will also be responsible for implementing, updating and maintaining strategies to reduce delinquency levels. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-growing team with an opportunity to contribute to the business's portfolio performance.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be available for exceptional cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of delinquent loan and TPO accounts, including implementing and updating strategies to improve performance.
- Drive right party contact performance.
- Proactively identify delinquency trends and take ownership of strategies to reduce impact.
- Oversee escalated collection activities, accounts in remediation and customer assistance programs / processes.
- Partner with vendor leadership on project and process improvements and implementations.
- Oversee and complete account level audits and reviews, including call listening, to manage vendor performance.
- Oversee account settlement activities.
