DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTION : The Senior Manager of Energy storage solutions sales will be responsible for driving market growth and customer relationships within the energy storage sector. The ideal candidate has more than five years of sales experience selling Energy Storage Hardware / Software. Direct industry experience in the renewable and / or energy storage industries is desired. The candidate should have strong sales experience along with excellent communication skills.This position will report to the Head of Energy Storage Solution Sales or anyone that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based in Teaneck, New Jersey office or San Francisco, California Office or remote. Travel up to 50% may be required. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm or 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm.RESPONSIBILITIESSales of Qcells Energy Storage hardware and Software in the Community Scale, Commercial and Industrial segment.Assess the BESS market by identifying and analyzing key players, market size, growth potential, market dynamics & trends.Define and implement a sales growth strategy specific to achieve sales targets.Identify and establish business relationships with new BESS customers, including utility companies, renewable energy developers, EPCs.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers' leadership teams (C-suite, SVP, EVP levels).Lead the selling and negotiation activities for all major opportunities.Define and continuously maintain critical market intelligence from a market, customer, and competitor view.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.A Master’s in the above disciplines is preferred.Minimum of ten (10) years of sales experience with at least five (5) years in the energy storage industry.Substantial network among new developers and EPC contractors.Demonstrated understanding of business development.Creative drive for entrepreneurial opportunities and the flexibility to work with many different types of customers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A passion for the energy industry and willingness to learn and adapt in this rapidly growing industry.PHYSICAL, MENTAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS : To comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the essential physical, mental and environmental requirements for this job are listed below.
