The RF Engineer will focus on product verification, troubleshooting, and improving existing products, with the opportunity to transition into a design role. While previous experience is not required, candidates may need to provide letters of recommendation instead. This position will involve supporting Continuous Improvement projects driven by Lean Manufacturing principles, ensuring high product quality while reducing costs and complexity or increasing yield. Over time, you will develop skills in RF Filter Design, AutoCAD, DC Schematic Creation, Circuit Layout, and other relevant areas, paving the way for your growth into an RF Engineer.
Once the candidate learns and understands all of the various RF Filter and Integrated Microwave Assembly products currently manufactured in production, they will have the opportunities for growth into New Product development.
Requirements
What We're Looking For :
- Ability to analyze and interpret test data for troubleshooting yield issues as well as product improvement / enhancement.
- Improve test programs and methods for current products or convert test platforms of existing products.
- Support production in Root Cause Analysis when there are issues with built hardware.
- Assist with RMA failure analysis
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- In-depth knowledge of a broad number of topics with expertise in Prescalers, PLLs, RF switches, RF Power Limiters, RF Digital Step Attenuators, RF Mixers, and LNA's a plus
- Familiarity with RF measurements on ATE and bench, such as s-parameters, phase noise, IP2 / IP3, and P1dB compression a plus
- Experience with de-embedding RF test fixtures from s-parameter measurements a plus.
- Ability to apply and / or develop technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Ability to continually learn new technologies and processes.
