We have an immediate opening for a Claims Specialist at our Little Canada, MN office .
SUMMARY :
The Claims Specialist is responsible for supporting Safety / Operations performing administrative duties as required by the Claims Manager.
Primary Requirements :
Experience with claims negotiations and / or resolutions of claims (communicating with claimants / customers / initiating new claims)
Experience with claims handling processes (WC / Auto / GL) and the ability to handle large customer base and multi states
Responsibilities Include :
- Assisting the Claims Manager with claims files and loss reporting.
- Receiving first reports of incident on general liability, injury, and auto claims.
- Requesting investigation documentation from Foremen and Supervisors.
- Requesting Police reports.
- Claims file data input.
- Assisting with providing the Operations Group and clients with periodic Loss Reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
