- Greet guests so that they feel welcome; let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
- Guide guests through food and beverage selection, making recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy and answering questions.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, accurately enter orders in POS relaying information to kitchen and bar. Accurately place in POS to properly course the meal preparation and delivery.
- Frequently monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and beverage selections. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Conclude guests’ dining experience following Q39 check closeout procedures, acknowledging choice of Q39, and invite them to return.
- Prepare dining rooming and wait stations for service at the beginning of shift, perform side work as assigned, keep service areas stocked and clean, and transition smoothly to next server when shift has concluded.
- At the end of the business day, clean and close service stations and dining room per Q39 procedures. Follow equipment maintenance and advise managers of any equipment or supply issues.
- Contribute effectively to the FOH team to ensure the smooth and efficient operations and excellent guest experiences. This includes filling in and assisting fellow servers, food runners, bussers, and bartenders.
- Accurately follow Q39 POS and tip close-out procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 or more years of server experience at a full-service restaurant.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar and tablet.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment while maintaining food and beverage preparation and service accuracy and interacting with guests and fellow team members.
- Ability to be on feet extended periods of time during a 4-5 hours per shift with frequent walking.
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures and functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
Salary : $7
