What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Q4 SERVICES INC?
Q4 is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our front office. This position has purchasing responsibilities. Assists with general administrative tasks:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive purchase requisitions; prepare PO’s, route for review/approval.
- Submit purchase orders to vendors and assist with RFQ process.
- Identify cost saving opportunities.
- Follow up with POs for delivery status.
- Coordinating with vendors - making calls, negotiating prices, printing purchase orders.
- Provide general administrative tasks to the front office.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate a record of dependability, work effectively with minor supervision, strong organization, computer and time management skills and comfortable working under deadline pressure.
- 2 or more years related experience.
- Prior experience in purchasing helpful.
SCHEDULE
- Full-time Schedule Options: Full time with hours on Monday – Thursday 7 am – 5pm; and, Friday 7 am – 11 am.
