Q4 is an independent market-leading supplier of innovative and unique visual display systems to the military and commercial flight simulation and training industry. With its headquarters located in Orlando, Florida, Q4 specializes in the manufacture, service and support of visual display systems to the simulation and training industry.
Q4 is seeking a Project Planner to support our growing organization. The ideal candidate will be organized and adaptable with strong problem solving and computer skills. Specific duties include :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Planning Supervisor with updating project schedules and distributing status reports.
- Create work orders and schedule the release of work orders to designated departments, utilizing the IMS to determine priorities.
- Confer with department leads to status work progress and completion dates.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels to plan purchasing requisitions that support project schedules.
- Receive / review the need for purchase requisitions; submit purchase requisitions for purchase order release; follow up to ensure purchase order deliveries are on schedule.
- Monitor work-in-process status throughout assigned departments.
- Advise the Project Controls Supervisor of anticipated schedule delays for in-process projects.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts; maintain inventory records.
- Generate reports on production resource utilization, quality control, consumption of material and other aspects of manufacturing.
