What You Will Do
- Operate and maintain brake press, tube bender, and laser machinery, ensuring equipment is stocked, maintained, and working at full capacity
- Inspect parts and verify accuracy against blueprints or engineering drawings
- Adjust machines to ensure proper setup and quality production
- Perform thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Keep work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Troubleshoot and report discrepancies or malfunctions to management
- Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience with laser and/or brake press machine operation
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Person people want to work with
- Positive attitude, reliable attendance with excellent work ethic
- Basic math, reading and English communication skills
- Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision
- Must be available and open to the idea of cross training learning
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including extended standing up to 10 hours a day with occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
