What You Will Do
- Clean and finish welded components by removing slag, spatter, and excess materials.
- Use tools such as grinders, wire brushes, and sanders to clean and smooth welds.
- Inspect welded areas for quality assurance, ensuring that they meet specifications.
- Report any issues with equipment or materials to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from management to meet production goals.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workspace safe and organized.
- Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools (grinders, belt sanders, etc.)
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Person people want to work with.
- Positive attitude, reliable attendance with excellent work ethic.
- Basic math, reading and English communication skills.
- Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision.
- Must be available and open to the idea of cross training learning.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including extended standing up to hours a day with occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 60 lbs.
