Who We Want:

The Senior Director, Marketing will serve as a key strategic leader at Q’Apel Medical, Inc., driving the company’s marketing vision, brand positioning, and market expansion strategies. This role will be responsible for shaping the company’s go-to-market approach, commercial growth initiatives, and customer engagement programs to enhance Q’Apel’s competitive position in the neurovascular space.


What You’ll Work On:


  • Define and drive market expansion initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities across domestic and international markets.
  • Oversee the entire product marketing lifecycle, from concept development and launch strategy to broad market adoption and post-launch optimization.
  • Partner with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, and industry stakeholders to develop high-impact engagement programs in collaboration with the Professional Education & Development team.
  • Shape competitive positioning and differentiation strategies, leveraging market intelligence and competitive analysis to ensure Q’Apel maintains a leadership position in the neurovascular market.
  • Establish and optimize demand generation programs, including digital marketing, content strategy, and customer engagement campaigns to drive brand awareness and market penetration.
  • Influence pricing, market access, and reimbursement strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize product adoption and commercial success.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to drive ROI and business impact.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape corporate strategy, ensuring that marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, positioning Q’Apel Medical as an innovator in the neurovascular space.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, establishing Q’Apel as a recognized authority in the field through industry partnerships, conferences, and content marketing.
  • Perform other strategic and operational duties as needed.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department. 
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least fifteen years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Thorough understanding of market developments.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.  

 

Our compensation ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider the current market rate, and the title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company, your performance, contributions, and results, along with business and organizational needs, will affect your compensation. The annual salary range for this full-time, exempt position is between $200K-230K.
