Function: Perform a variety of structural assembly, fitting, rework and riveting operations. Perform visual and functional inspection operations to assure product meets all requirements and specifications. Responsible for assuring final quality acceptance of installations, configuration and operational response of mechanical systems, structures, components and controls.
Duties:
- Work from Engineering drawings, blueprints, manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operation and work sheets, military and customer specifications and procedures and verbal instructions
- Perform a variety of structural assembly and fastener/sealant operations
- Inspect to engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Monitor and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives
- Read and interpret withholding tags, standard specifications and standard repair manual
- Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and shop equipment
- Keep work areas clean and orderly

- Drills/Grinder/Drill Press/Riveting Gun/Pneumatic Gun or Drills/Power Button Gun/Huck Gun/Router/Sea Squeeze

Hand Tools –
- Air/Electric/Manual - Wrenches, Pliers, Hammer, CleCo Pliers, Punch, Drill Block, Grip Gauges
- Measuring Instruments
- Must be willing to work any shift.
General Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
